Huttoft village hall

Huttoft Parish Council has a maximum of 8 Councillors who are elected every four years by the residents of Huttoft.  All the Councillors are volunteers.  At the Annual meeting of the Council held in May, all members of the Parish Council elect a Chair, Vice-Chair and Treasurer for the next 12 months.

The Parish Council meets every two months, usually on the second Monday of the month.  Dates of future Parish Council meetings are shown on the website.

The Parish Council employees a part-time Clerk (‘Proper Officer’) who is responsible for administrating the day-to-day business of the Council and provides help, support and advice to Councillors.  The Clerk is also the Responsible Financial Officer with specific responsibility to the proper administration of all financial matters relating to the Parish Council.

The Parish Council welcomes and encourages residents to engage with the Council and attend Council meetings.
