A MEETING OF HUTTOFT PARISH COUNCIL WAS HELD ON THURSDAY, 20TH SEPTEMBER 2018

Apologies were received from Cllrs. P Lapczuk & G Marsh (ELDC) & accepted.

4172. MINUTES
Proposed, Seconded & Resolved that the minutes 19th July & 6th September, 2018 having been circulated and read, were approved & signed by the Chairman.
4173. CLERK’S REPORT
None
4174. REPORTS FROM OUTSIDE BODIES
Cllr. Devereux reported that more than a quarter of recycling is contaminated and cannot be recycled. Residents would be reminded to wash items before binning & ELDC were to stick notices on residents’ bins reminding what can be recycled.
Cllr. Devereux said she was a member of Universal Credit Committee & any resident in need of claiming in work benefit should contact ELDC. She had also attended a presentation by Marc Jones, Crime Commissioner, who reported on a 30% reduction in hare coursing, mental health & modern day slavery.
Victoria Atkins, MP would be attending an Older People’s Fair at The Dunes, Mablethorpe all welcome.
Cllr. Matthews said that he had attended Battle of Britain Service at Lincoln Cathedral. Cllrs. were informed of a consultation regarding number of beds & services at Louth Hospital. P Cllrs. replied that they would also like Victoria Atkins to support residents in ELDC who require services of Pilgrim Hospital, Boston.
Cllr. Devereux then left the meeting due to other commitments.

Huttoft Primary School – letter inviting Councillors to become a Governor. Anyone Interested was asked to contact school direct.

Royal Mail – scam mail poster – displayed in noticeboard.
LCC – redirection of public footpath Jolly Common – details in noticeboard.

Viking Link – Public Enquiry to be held
4177. FINANCE & ACCOUNTS
Proposed, Seconded & Resolved that accounts totalling £800 be paid. All in favour.
4178. ANY OTHER MATTERS (discussion only)
Affordable Housing in Huttoft – awaiting response from ELDC regarding suggested plots of land for development.
ELDC are making enquiries into fly tipping, Jolly Common Lane, Huttoft.
P. Cllrs. discussed why there had been no provision for a footpath along the Frontage of the car park, Mumby Road. Clerk was asked to email ELDC & LCC for their response.
There being no further business the meeting closed at 7.50 p.m.
