4252. PLANNING MATTERS

N/089/01819/19 Land Adj. Cherry Tree Court, Mumby Rd, Huttoft
Outline Planning - Erection of 8 dwellings

SUPPORT – with following comments –
Access & visibility is limited when turning right from development onto A52.
Access needs widening to accommodate large delivery vehicles & construction
Development is overlooking properties on Alford Road, resulting in garages on their boundary, the houses are looking into their gardens resulting in a lack of privacy & restricting their views. Therefore, Huttoft PC would prefer to see single storey dwellings for Plots 5,6,& 7. Consideration to Plots 2,3 & 4 to be moved south on the plots to allow buildings on Plots 5,6 & 7 to be moved from boundary of Alford Rd, properties.
In Huttoft village, there are grave concerns with drainage & sewerage system which Is already over capacity & overloaded. This has caused flooding in the past & Pumping out of the sewers.
Footpath & hedges on the southern side of development, known as Leafy Lane, needs preserving & upgrading. The developer to be responsible for future maintenance should this development proceed. Footpath along A52 ends at Leafy Lane & roadside boundary requires a footpath.
Residents in attendance were advised to submit their comments to ELDC.
